Six Free Community Concerts Presented at Volunteer Park by VPT
Our 5th Annual Summer Series at the Amphitheater is coming back this July & August with a roster of new performers and popular return artists. We’re excited to announce a lineup that is sure to have you dancing on the lawn this year. Explore the talented lineup and save the dates in your calendar at the links below. Note that opening performers start at 6 p.m., followed by the headliner at 7 p.m.
Our 2026 Summer Series Lineup
Eldridge Gravy and the Court Supreme
with McTuff | July 9th
We’re kicking off the 5th Annual Summer Series with a bang! Eldridge Gravy and the Court Supreme is a Seattle funk juggernaut bringing serious energy. Frontman Eldridge is backed by the hot, gritty orchestration of the 12 member Court Supreme.
Opening the evening is McTuff. Joe Doria brings together some of the best of the NW music scene to create a powerful and jaw-dropping funk and jazz sound.
The Paperboys
with The Phinney Ridge Steel Band | July 16th
Our second evening of the series brings back two Volunteer Park Trust favorites! The Paperboys are a Canadian folk music band from Vancouver, BC. The Paperboys blend Celtic folk with bluegrass, Mexican, Eastern European, African, zydeco, soul, and country influences.
Opening the evening is another returning favorite, The Phinney Ridge Steel Band. This local group has made waves playing steel drums around Seattle and beyond.
Clinton Fearon and the Boogie Brown Band
With LeRoy Bell and His Only Friends | July 23rd
Clinton Fearon has been a composer, songwriter, singer and player of instruments since his early teens. Born in Jamaica and later finding home in Seattle, Fearon’s music is a strong message coming from the heart of a man who dedicates his life to help a better world to come.
LeRoy Bell, the all time summer series favorite, returns to open this night of rock and reggae inspired hits. LeRoy Bell and His Only Friends are celebrating 25 years of music having the pleasure to have shared the stage with B.B. King, Etta James, Van Morrison,Sheryl Crow, Sharron Jones, Huey Lewis, Steve Miller, Fitz and The Tantrums and many more.
Beatleconcert
With Zje Mongol | July 30th
BEATLECONCERT brings iconic Beatles songs to the stage.Performed by some of Seattle's most experienced musicians with no costumes or fake accents, BEATLECONCERT may be the closest you ever get to seeing the Beatles at the height of their powers.
Opener Zje Mongol is a Seattle-based family band bringing traditional Mongolian music to global audiences through the power of throat singing, horsehead fiddle, and steppe-born rhythms. Ancient sounds, modern stage.
MarchFourth
With Dance Church | August 6th
MarchFourth is a kaleidoscope of musical and visual energy that inspires unabashed dancing and an atmosphere of celebration. Their show is a sonic journey with worldwide influences, echoing the deepest grooves of American funk, rock, and jazz boiled all together in cinematic fashion, with showmanship, flare, and BIG heart.
Opening is returning favorite Dance Church! This fitness-class meets dance therapy session will have you on your feet. Their fun and inclusive approach to dancing is designed for people of all shapes and sizes, backgrounds and identities.
Nite Wave
With The ABBAgraphs | August 13th
Closing out our Summer Series is a favorite from last year: Nite Wave! Since 2011, Nite Wave has been passionate about ‘80s New Wave and putting on a night you'll never forget. Hear everything from Prince to Depeche Mode to Duran Duran to INXS and more!
Opener The ABBAgraphs invite you to step into a glittery time warp as the six-piece powerhouse ensemble recreates the pop magic of ABBA’s chart-topping hits from the '70s and early '80s that keep the dance floor buzzing.

Can I sign up to Volunteer?
Yes, VPT is are looking for volunteers to help all summer long during concerts. Submit the volunteer interest form to get involved.
Who do you partner with on these events?
Modern Enterprises, LLC is the production company responsible for producing Summer Series at the Amphitheater.
How do I apply to be a food truck vendor at the Summer Series?
You can email info@volunteerparktrust.org to get more information on vending at the Summer Series.
What are transportation options?
The Amphitheater in Volunteer Park can be reached by light rail (Capitol Hill Station) and Metro bus routes #10 and #49. There are a limited number of parking spaces available in front of the Seattle Asian Art Museum including 4 ADA parking stalls. There is additional parking along Volunteer Park Road, but note that some spaces will be blocked off for Food Trucks. Additional parking can be found on Prospect or 15th. We recommend biking, walking, or using public transit whenever possible.
Do I need to reserve a ticket?
Admission to the Summer Series at the Amphitheater is free and open to the public. Tickets are not required for entry.
How can businesses or individuals sponsor the Summer Series?

When is the 2026 Summer Series happening?
The 2026 Summer Series has performances on July 9, 16, 23, 30 and Aug 6 and 13. The openers begin at 6pm each evening and you can expect the headliner to begin between 7:00 - 7:15 or so. Come early to grab a great seat on the lawn and enjoy all of the music.
Can I submit my band to play at Volunteer Park Trust’s Summer Series?
We open up our call once per year for talent of all kinds to submit for the series. This typically happens in late winter/early spring and the best way to find out about it is to subscribe to our newsletter.
